GRB’s Early College High School Program Gives Students An Up-Close Look At Upstate Hospital

Students in the Early College High School health sciences program at Fulton’s G. Ray Bodley High School recently got a behind-the-scenes look at Upstate Hospital with a valuable job shadowing experience. The shadowing program, hosted from now through August, gives incoming seniors at least 20 hours of service credit working with doctors, nurses, and hospital staff in a variety of medical fields.

Fulton Sunrise Rotary Awards Jack Phillips The 2023 Rosa Pappalardo Kemmis Award

Fulton Sunrise Rotary has awarded Jack Phillips the 2023 Rosa Pappalardo Kemmis Award. A graduating senior at G. Ray Bodley High School, Jack will be attending Cayuga Community College next fall where he plans on studying medical science. Jack has participated in school sports and been a member of Oswego County Academic Youth League.

A computerized topographical mapping table is giving students at Fulton’s G. Ray Bodley High School an interactive and innovative look at everything from landforms and topography to climate change and erosion. The CiTi BOCES Instructional Technology Support (ITS) Model Schools has recognized the new tool as its program spotlight for the month.
