Granby Gator Cards Are Here!

Granby  Gator Cards Are Here!

The Granby Parent Teacher Group is pleased to announce the availability of Granby Gator Cards, the latest in an effort to raise money for a new playground for the school. Available at Granby Elementary School, the card allow purchasers to enjoy discounts at twelve area businesses: B&T Sports Shop, Jreck Subs, Family Video, Lakeview Lanes, C Perkins Photography, Tavern on the Lock, Burke’s Home Center, Fajita Grill, New Image Fitness, DeVine Designs, Suncatchers Tanning Salon, and Subway. Each card costs only six dollars and is a great way to support the school and save money at the same time.

The Granby Parent Teacher Group is nearing their goal of $55,000 needed to replace the existing “over utilized” wooden play structure with a new series of play equipment. The group has been holding fundraisers like this for the past three years and is hoping to start the Granby Elementary School playground build in June 2011.

Walter Crofoot, Madalyn Delano and Zachary Baker, kindergartner’s in Mrs. VanBuren’s Class, help spread the word about the Granby Gator Cards the school is selling in an effort to raise money for a new playground.
