Catholic Charities of Oswego County’s “Great Tastings,” has added Man in the Moon Candies and Kathy’s Cakes and Specialty Treats as food vendors for the event, 2 – 5 p.m. May 1 at the Lake Ontario Conference Center, Oswego.
Catholic Charities of Oswego County will host “Great Tastings” on May 3 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Lake Ontario Conference Center, Oswego, said Mary Margaret Pezzella-Pekow, CCOC executive director.
Catholic Charities of Oswego County will host Grape Expectations,” a wine tasting fundraiser on Sept. 28, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the River Vista Center, 810 S. First St. All funds raised will benefit CCOC’s Catholic Youth activities.
The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce will present two evenings of great music, fantastic food and lots of fun when the 2013 edition of the Fulton Jazz Fest brings cool jazz to the hot nights on the shores of Lake Neahtahwanta behind the War Memorial in Fulton 5-11 p.m. on Friday and 4:30 – 11 p.m. Saturday.
The Fulton Lions Club is supporting the United Way of Greater Oswego County’s Fifth Annual Stone Soup, Too! lunch to benefit local food pantries with a donation of $500.
It started with a carrot cake.
“It’s such a good recipe,” said Kathy Hotaling of Fulton. “Everyone had it and said, ‘you should open a bakery’.”
So she did.
