Despite Funding To Oswego, Lee Continues Efforts Toward Partnership
An A. L. Lee Memorial Hospital official says that despite the state’s announcement that Oswego Hospital will receive a sizeable grant to make improvements to several of its departments, the goal of keeping Lee Memorial up and running has not changed. City Considers Options To Help Hospital
With an additional year to work with, the city of Fulton is considering the ways that it can lend a hand to A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital in its efforts to save health care services in Fulton.
Lee Memorial Granted One-Year Extension
Three days before the deadline, the state has announced that Lee Memorial Hospital will have a one more year to work out potential partnership agreements with other health care facilities. According to Assemblyman Will Barclay, the state Health Department has granted Lee Memorial a one-year extension to meet the requirements of the Berger Commission.
