During the evening hours of Thursday July 15, the Fulton Police Department utilized two officers to participate in its Quality of Life Patrol. The patrol resulted in the arrest of a Fulton man wanted on several warrants, some felonies. He is also under investigation for other crimes.

Police: Man Allegedly Kidnapped Oswego Woman
A 22-year-old female was allegedly kidnapped from her Oswego residence, police said Thursday. She was ultimately released by the suspect and was safe at the Webster Police Department. The suspect, Scott C. Furey, is currently being held at Owego County Jail.

UPDATED May 27: A man was taken into custody early May 26 after holding police at bay with a rifle overnight. William P. Deibel II, 27, of 25 Cedarwood Drive, Oswego, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon (Class A misdemeanor). He was released on bail.

Fulton Man Facing Felony Drug Charges
At approximately 4:03 p.m. Thursday, members of the Oswego City Police Department, assisted by the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, arrested Lyle L. Boatman, 45, of 20 Airport Road, Fulton, for allegedly possessing and selling an undisclosed amount of crack cocaine.
