Coordinator of OCO’s Cancer Services Program Partnership Carolyn Handville displays the 22” Flat Screen Television that the program will be giving away to a lucky client who receives a free cancer screening through the program now through Feb. 28.

In an effort to raise the awareness of their services and encourage Oswego County residents to receive the cancer screenings they need, Oswego County Opportunities’ Cancer Services Program Partnership is giving away a 22” flat screen television.



Head Start Preschool to Hold Open Enrollment

Children in this Oswego Head Start Preschool classroom spend time at the Sensory Table, where they are learning about science through hands-on play.  The program will be holding an open enrollment day on Thursday, January 28th from 10 am to 2 pm at OCO’s Midtown Plaza office site next to JoAnn Fabrics in Oswego.Oswego County Head Start Preschool will be holding an Open Enrollment Day on Thursday, January 28th from 10 am to 2 pm. Head Start is a preschool program for 3- and 4-year-old children with the primary goal of promoting school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children. The program includes nutritious meals and snacks, encourages parent involvement, and family support.

Teresa Cady (l) and Charlotte Dodge (r) peer through the bags of food items that members of the Prince Of Peace Church in Fulton donated in support of Oswego Opportunities’ ‘Giving Tree.’  The congregation donated food for six families living in OCO’s homeless apartment program.
