The Oswego Youth Community Orchestra will perform Thursday at 6:45 p.m. at Springside at Seneca Hill, 10 County Route 45A, Oswego. The concert theme is Oswego Stands Proud, featuring music played during some of America’s most difficult times.
The Oswego High School and Oswego Middle School Orchestra Concert is scheduled for Friday, March 25, at the Oswego High School Ralph M. Faust Theatre for the Performing Arts. This is an outstanding musical event and recently OMS Orchestra Director Deb Mazurek rehearsed with her students in preparation for the concert.
In addition to performing with the Oswego High School Orchestra, he is a member of the cello section of the Oswego County Youth Orchestra and plays string bass with the Oswego High school jazz band.
The Oswego Community Youth Orchestra presents From Seville to The Steppes, a musical journey from Europe to Asia, on Nov. 14 in Sheldon Ballroom SUNY Oswego at 7 p.m.
The Oswego Middle School String Orchestra once again earned “Grand Champion†status at the Darien Lake Music Festival competition at Six Flags Darien Lake.
During the holiday season Oswego Middle School Select Singers and orchestra members visited St. Luke’s during the annual holiday party.
