With the Red Kettle campaign well under way, the search for bellringers is still a priority for The Salvation Army of Oswego. There are still a large number of kettle slots that need bellringers for weekdays, evenings and Saturdays. Of critical need are bellringers the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving.

 With the kettle campaign barely under way, the Fulton Salvation Army is already experiencing a dramatic drop in kettle income. Captain Kevin Brennan, director of the Salvation Army of Fulton, says the drop of $2000 in income compared to last year at this time could have several causes.

Allstate Insurance Agent Thomas Direnzo, whose office is located at 11 North 2nd Street in Fulton, has received the Agency Hands in the Community Award for his commitment to volunteering in the community. With this award came a $500 grant from The Allstate Foundation for the Salvation Army in Fulton, where Direnzo volunteers.
