There is plenty going on at Building 30 in Fort Ontario Park. The Art Association of Oswego and their co-tenants, the Oswego Players, have some upcoming shows and other events. Both groups would like to see more activity outside as well. The building is in need of much repair.

Oswego DPW Commissioner Seeks To Replenish Fleet
At Monday night’s meeting of the Administrative Services Committee, Mike Smith, DPW commissioner, requested discussion regarding the purchase of several pieces of equipment. He gave councilors a list of five vehicles and sander box that he’d like to purchase. “This isn’t a wish list. These are things that I really need,†he said.

Oswego Man Charged With Possession Of Drugs
On June 4, at about 6:13 p.m. Oswego Police executed a search warrant at 91 E. Sixth St., Lower-Rear Apartment. During the search, police discovered approximately 4.7 grams of cocaine (valued at approximately $300) and 42 grams of marijuana (valued at approximately $420). The resident is now facing charges.
