Executive director of the United Way of Greater Oswego County, Melanie Trexler, announced the Wal-Mart in Granby will host a book drive in support of the United Way’s Success By 6 program.
In an effort to ensure every child is prepared for school, the United Way of Greater Oswego County held its annual Success By 6 “Stuff a Bus†campaign at nine different bus locations around the county. The school supplies will now be divided among the nine districts in the coming days.

This year’s benefit breakfast will be held July 24 at The Clubhouse Tavern, 126 W. Second St. in Oswego

Children, parents and grand parents can enjoy an entertaining and enlightening adventure together when they visit the new Success By 6 Born Learning Trail.

Success By 6, an initiative of the United Way of Greater Oswego County, will opens it new Born Learning Trail. One of only three in New York State, the trail is located in Hulett Park / CV Abbott Playground on Division Street.
The Success By 6 Born Learning Trail started to develop earlier this spring. On Tuesday, it began taking shape. The trail being constructed in Fulton’s Hulett Park, is one of only three in New York State. When completed, the trail will consist of 10 learning stations utilizing the surrounding environment to promote learning for youth five and under. The grand opening will take place later this month.
