Sheriff Reuel A. Todd is pleased to announce the appointment of Eugene F. Sullivan III to the position of Undersheriff of Oswego County. Undersheriff Sullivan is a 16-year member, being appointed by then Sheriff Charles F. Nellis, as a deputy in 1995.
Robert J. Lighthall recently announced his intent to retire from his position as Undersheriff with the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office effective March 31. In his honor, a retirement party will be held at the Castaways Riverside Restaurant located at 916 County Route 37, Brewerton, on April 2.
In August 2000, Undersheriff Robert Lighthall sat down with Oswego Daily News (now Oswego County Today) and reflected on his first employer. Today, except for the date, the story is the same.
