Barbara Outman, 77

FULTON, NY – Barbara Outman, 77, formerly of Phoenix, died on Thursday November 15, 2012, at Oswego Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born in Canastota, NY, to the late William and Doris (Coss) Herzog.

She was a lifelong resident of Phoenix, NY.

Mrs. Outman retired after several years with Will & Baumer Candle Company, Syracuse.

She loved to spend time with her family.

Mrs. Outman was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Outman, in 2004.

She is survived by her daughter, Dianna (Danny Horn) Reeves of Sterling, NY; two grandchildren, Michael Reeves Jr., of Oswego, NY, and Anna Reeves of Sterling, NY; two siblings, Evelyn Herzog of Granby, NY, and Roger Herzog of Clay, NY; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private.

Burial will be private.

There will be no calling hours.

The Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton, NY, has care of the arrangements.

Tailwater Lodge to Receive NEDA Project of the Year Award

The Northeastern Economic Developers Association, which represents 11 states, will hold its annual conference on September 13 – 15 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Downtown in Syracuse. Each year, NEDA recognizes outstanding achievements in the field of economic development by way of its annual Best Practice and Marketing Awards. Oswego Kartway Classic, Party in the Pits Launch Official Budweiser Classic Week Track Activity at Oswego Speedway

The 9th annual Oswego Kartway Classic will kick off racing directly behind Oswego Speedway during Budweiser International Classic Week on September 3 at 6:30 p.m. The Kartway Classic has become a staple event for kart racers throughout New York State, and with increasing weekly kart counts at Oswego Kartway during the regular season, the Classic looks to be on its way to a record number of entries next week.
