Oswego County Office for the Aging Entrance Temporarily Closed

The Oswego County Office for the Aging, located in the Oswego County Health Complex, 70 Bunner St. in Oswego, will undergo necessary repairs to the sidewalk in front of its outside entryway. Beginning early in the week of September 22, the office’s main entrance on the front, or north side, of the building will be closed to the public while the county works to repair and replace the sidewalk.

Maffei Introduces Print Act

U.S. Representative Dan Maffei today (Sept. 19) introduced the Print Act, a bill that could save more than $300 million annually by requiring all federal agencies to print documents in more efficient fonts to save ink and paper. It also ends the delivery of printed copies of the Congressional Record to members of Congress and modernizes publishing moving more to online and digital.

Trio Facing Felony Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop

At approximately 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, investigators made contact with five occupants of a Dodge mini-van in the area of State Route 481 and WoodRidge Terrace in the city of Oswego. The occupants of the vehicle were the subjects of an ongoing ACT investigation. Three of them were arrested. They possessed drugs they planned to sell in Oswego, according to police.
