Hawks Soar Past Lakers on The Court

The Oswego State women’s basketball team stumbled to an 83-32 loss at SUNYAC-leader New Paltz on Tuesday evening. Oswego’s record falls to 3-18 on the year and 1-13 in conference action. The Hawks improve to 16-5 overall and 11-3 in the SUNYAC.

Lady Lakers Can’t Solve Fredonia At Home

The Oswego State women’s basketball team could not overcome a nine-point halftime deficit on its way to a 75-54 loss to Fredonia on Friday night at Max Ziel Gymnasium. Oswego’s overall record falls to 3-16 with the loss and 1-11 in the conference.

Late Layup Spoils Lakers’ Night

The Oswego State men’s basketball team lost a nail-biter on a last possession layup by host Geneseo on Tuesday night. Oswego’s loss brings its record to 12-6 overall and 5-6 in the SUNYAC while the Knights move to 14-4, 8-3.

Women’s Ice Hockey Comes Up Short At Buffalo

The Oswego State women’s ice hockey was handed its second straight loss from Buffalo State this weekend, falling 2-0 Saturday afternoon at the Buffalo State Ice Arena. With the loss the Lakers move to 9-7-3 overall and 5-6-3 in the ECAC West.

Lakers Never Trail In Win Over Oneonta

The Oswego State men’s basketball team opened on a 13-0 run and never trailed on its way to a 80-72 win over Oneonta on Saturday afternoon in Max Ziel Gymnasium. Oswego’s victory improves its overall record to 12-5 but, most importantly, pushes its SUNYAC record to .500 (5-5) after starting 1-4.
