The Manor To Host Program for Alzheimer Caregivers

Community members caring for those with Alzheimer’s are invited to attend a free three-part program to be held December 3, 10 and 17 at 4 p.m. at The Manor at Seneca Hill in the ground floor conference room. This series is designed to provide caregivers with the knowledge, tools and strategies needed to cope with a diagnosis of Alzheimers or related dementia.

Rotarians Hear About Fraud

At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Jeanne Ceiszeski introduced her brother, Tom Apicelli, Northeast Regional Investigations Manager with G4S Compliance and Investigations. He gave an exciting talk giving examples of different workers’ comp cases that had to be decided in court.

Eastside Oswego Fire Claims Life

Oswego firefighters responded to a house fire late Wednesday night. The blaze at an apartment house on East Third Street reportedly left one person dead. “The call at 155 E. Third St. was reported at 10:14 p.m. with units arriving three minutes later to find the upstairs apartment fully involved with fire,”Chief Jeff McCrobie said.
