Eastern Shore Associates Adds Mexico Office

Eastern Shore Associates Insurance (ESA), a Trusted Choice® agency, has added a personal insurance sales office in Mexico inside the new Oswego County Federal Credit Union (OCFCU) at 5828 Scenic Ave. (Rt. 3), it was announced by Robert K. Wallace, ESA president and CEO. Both the credit union and ESA office are scheduled to open in mid-December.

“Connie Northrup, one of our specialists in personal insurance coverage, will be at the new office creating the best insurance solutions at a competitive price,” Wallace said. “That’s because ESA represents more than 30 insurance companies to choose from and we’re delighted to be offering our services from inside this beautiful new OCFCU branch.

Capital Projects Moving Along In Fulton School District

The 2012 project saw upgrades to the electrical system, data wiring and asbestos removal from walls and ceilings as a way to modernize the facilities for the next generation of learners. With that project now complete, the district is tackling the remainder of the 2014 venture. Oswego Community Development Awarded $330k Water Quality Improvement Grant for Route 48 Green Gateway Project

Stormwater from Oswego’s west side sewer will be redirected to bioswales and tree plantings on State Route 48/ West First Street with a grant awarded by New York State Department of Environmental Conservation for a Water Quality Improvement Program. The city of Oswego Community Development Office applied for the grant in December 2013. Joseph Martens, commissioner of New York’s Department of Environmental Conservation, congratulated Mayor Tom Gillen for the project award of $330,000 for the $414,312 project last week.
