‘Love the Y’ Planned In June

SubmittedFULTON, NY - On Friday, June 6, the Fulton Family YMCA is holding “Love the Y”, a gala fundraising event at the Fulton Polish Home to auction off unique, hand painted, hand made love seats, mirrors and birdhouses, said Kelly Niccoli, fundraising committee chair.

Emcee for the event will be Dan Cummings, news anchor for WSYR Channel 9, the ABC television network affiliate in Syracuse. Jennifer Patterson, far right, produced the upholstered love seat for the auction. Her daughter, Carleigh, seated, and Betty Fadden, executive director for the Fulton YMCA, join her.

love yPatterson’s love seat is on display in the YMCA’s lobby along with several of the finished birdhouses, Niccoli said.

The 30 finished love seats and other works will soon be available for viewing at www.fultonymca.com. Niccoli can be reached at 592-9601, or contact the Fulton YMCA at 598-8273. Fruce Building Supply donated materials for construction and finishing of the love seats.
