Luke William Cole was born in Oswego Hospital on Nov. 13, 2012.

He weighed 10 pounds, 1 ounce and was 22.5 inches long.

He is the son of Sarah Burrows and Travis Cole, of Oswego.

Oswego Speedway Ranks Fourth Among America’s Favorite Race Tracks in Speed Sport Magazine Poll

For the third consecutive season, Oswego Speedway has ranked in the top five of Speed Sport Magazine’s My Favorite Track of North America poll, finishing in the fourth position overall. Speed Sport’s survey was conducted in late February through early March with the response being twice that received during last year’s poll and 10 times greater than the inaugural poll in 2012.

Felix Cavaliere’s Rascals Kick Off Oswego Harborfest

Felix Cavaliere’s Rascals will provide a “good times” opening to the 28th annual Oswego Harborfest. On July 23 the NRG Lakeview Stage in Breitbeck Park will set the mood for the rest of a spectacular weekend as one of the premier free music festivals in the nation kicks off. Harborfest Executive Director Doug Buske said, “Felix is a great way to launch this year’s celebration. I would like to thank Cayuga Community College and C&S Companies for their sponsorship of opening night.”

Students enrolled in the Commercial Driver License-A Program at the Center for Career and Community Education recently had a chance to explore a career in transportation with a local company. Dot Transportation employees Hal Williams and Steve Kuchko discussed the many opportunities available to graduates of Ken Koegel’s CDL-A course.
