Thanks For Great Blue Ribbon Ride

On behalf of the hundreds of children and their families that we serve at the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County I would like to thank those caring businesses and individuals who helped to make our Annual Blue Ribbon Ride such a success.  The event raised more than $4,000 to help support our efforts to provide vital services to children who have been sexually or physically abused.  From the beautiful weather for the ride to the wonderful chicken barbeque at Sweet Inspirations Drive-In it was a great day for all involved.

The success that we enjoyed would not be possible if not for support we received from the community.  Thank you to the Oswego County Sheriff’s Department for escorting our riders; the Fulton Police Department; Gerald Rogers, Andy Denery and the Palermo Fire Department; Chief Harland Fox and the Central Square Police Department; Chief Ken Hotaling and the Central Square Fire Department; Joan Hilton and the West Monroe Fire Department; Chief Hinds and the Cleveland Volunteer Fire Department; Chief David Potter and the West Amboy Fire Department; and Chief Doug Horton and the Mexico Volunteer Fire Department for their assistance with traffic control; the Omega Wire Company and Gramma & Grampa Diner for providing parking and refreshments for our riders; and of course our major sponsors for our Blue Ribbon Ride; Wheel-A-Way Motorsports, Cayuga Security & Investigation, Sweet Inspirations, and Slice ‘n’ Go Deli.

I am humbled by the community support we received and thankful for your recognition of the Child Advocacy Center and the work that they we do to help Oswego County children who are victims of sexual or physical abuse.

Sincerely,
Olivia VanSanford
