Fulton Family YMCA Hosts SU Basketball Clinic Saturday, August 8th for Youth in Grades K – 12

The Fulton Family YMCA is encouraging local community kids, who are in grades K – 12, to take part in joining some of the Syracuse University basketball players, for an “instructional clinic” which they promise will be a fun-filled.   The clinic is set for Saturday, August 8, 2009 at the Fulton Family YMCA.

Some of the SU players who may be here to help with instructions are Wes Johnson, Brandon Triche, Dashonte Riley, James Southerland and Kris Joseph.

The players will teach ball handling, passing, and shooting drills, and will also offer scrimmages, and games.  The first 100 kids’ registered will receive a YMCA basketball, so come test your skills or learn some new ones. Register early!  Space is limited!

There are different times for different age groups and they are as follows Grades K-2 @ 10 – 11:15 pm, Grades 3 -5 @ 11:30 – 12:45 pm, Grades 6 -8 @ 1 – 2:15 pm

Grades 9-12 @ 2:30 – 3:45 pm
