Louise M. Avery, 86

Louise M. Avery, 86, of Fulton, NY died Tyuesday, August 19, 2008.

She was born in Scriba to her late parents, Leon B. and Sarah M. (Wells) Stacy in September, 1921.

She was employed by Oswego River Tissues, Phoenix, NY; Sealright Corp, Fulton; and Syroco, Van Buren, retiring in 1976.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Frank L. Stoutenger, in 1966; her second husband, John B. Avery in 1973.  Her brothers and sisters also died previously.

Surviving are her son, Ovid N. Stoutenger of Black River, NY; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services are Thursday, August 21 at 1:00 p.m. at the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, Phoenix, NY.  Burial in Chase Cemetery, Lysander. Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. the same day prior to the service at the funeral home, 431 Main St.

    Louise was a very nice woman and full of life. She always had stories to tell that interested me from her younger days . I took care of her when I worked for the health department, i was her aide for about 2 years . I then reunited with her at michaud nursing home, I have a relative there. She will be missed
