Ida Pearl Parsons

Ida Pearl Parsons, 86, of New Haven, died Saturday at Oswego Hospital.

Born in Fulton she was a life resident of the New Haven area. Ida was a homemaker raising nine children. She was predeceased by her first husband, Orville Kranz, who died in WWII, her second husband, Ovid J. Parsons, who died in 2001, a daughter, Irene Doviak, who died in 2007 and a brother, Harold Bartlett, who died in 2005.

Surviving: children, Jean (Doug) Kenna of Henderson Harbor, Carolyn Berry of Mexico, Linda (Bill Hayes) Parsons of Pamplico, SC, Thomas Parsons of Mexico, Barb Thompson of Mexico, Sharon (Mert) Duval of Oswego, Mary (Joe) Parsons of Miami, FL and Pamela (Bob) Burnside of Oswego ; eight sisters, Hattie Campbell of Fulton, Arlene Barlow of Oswego, Kathleen Myers, Gloria White, Marg Chubb all of Fulton, Sue Zappala of North Syracuse, Pat Gregory of Mexico and Charlotte Pizio of Philadelphia; four brothers, Franklin, Ross, Donald and Bill Bartlett all of Fulton; 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held 5 p.m. Wednesday at First Congregational Church of New Haven, 4270 State Route 104 in New Haven. Reverend Sandy Stevens will officiate. Calling hours are 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be private at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Volney. Contributions may be made to the First Congregational Church of New Haven, P.O. Box 86, New Haven 13121.
