Oswego Library Closed For Thanksgiving

OSWEGO, NY – In celebration of Thanksgiving, the Oswego Public Library will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 22 and 23.

We will reopen on Saturday at noon.

The annual event serves as a fundraiser for food pantries in Oswego County.

‘Heroes’ Ready to ‘Shoot For The Stars’

Move Along   logoThe sixth annual “Shoot for the Stars” 3-on-3 wheelchair basketball tournament will again feature the Heroes Game between the Oswego Firefighters and Police on April 26 at Leighton Elementary School. Organized by Greg Callen, founder of Move Along Inc., the tournament raises money to put toward the purchase of wheelchairs and other equipment needed to supply various disabled sports programs.
