Oswego County Sheriff’s Office 08/27/2008

On 8/26/08 at 5:18 p.m., Bruce A. Witherell, 50, of 10 Hillside Drive, Constantia, NY, was ticketed for Operation While Registration Suspended following a traffic stop in the Town of Constantia after his vehicle was targeted by a License Plate Reader as he drove eastbound SR 49.  Mr. Witherell is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Constantia Court on 9/15/08.

On 8/26/08, Christopher J. Arton, 22, of 3280 Main St., Apt. 1, Mexico, NY, was arrested at 6:28 p.m. based on a bench warrant issued by Town of Mexico Court charging him with Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor.  Mr. Arton was arraigned before the Hon. James Gracey, Town of Mexico Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bail bond.  He is scheduled to return to court on 9/02/08.

On 8/26/08 at 6:50 p.m., Victoria Marmontello, 37, of 4224 Aurora Path, Liverpool, NY, was arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor.  Released on an appearance ticket, Ms. Marmontello is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Parish Court on 9/09/08.  She is accused of talking about sex and circumcision to minors on 8/07/08 and demonstrating what a circumcision looked like by showing the circumcised penis of another minor to the children while at a campsite located in the Town of Parish.

On 8/26/08 at 9:53 p.m., Christy L. Switzer, 30, of 956 Middle Road, 17A, Oswego, NY, was ticketed for Operation While Registration Suspended; Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree; and Operation Without Insurance after a License Plate Reader targeted her vehicle as she drove eastbound on SR 104 in the Town of Mexico.  Ms. Switzer was released on tickets and is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Mexico Court on 9/16/08.

On 8/27/08 at 1:20 a.m., Jessica A. Jorgensen, 19, of PO Box 263, Richland, NY, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree (one scoff on 8/23/08 for persistent violator), following the investigation into a property damage motor vehicle accident that occurred on SR 3 in the Town of Richland where she reportedly lost control while turning around putting her 1990 Chevrolet S-10 into a ditch.  Mr. Jorgensen is scheduled to answer the charge before Town of Richland Court on 9/22/08.

On 8/27/08 at 2:16 a.m., Christopher J. Dickinson, 17, of 8052 S. Main St., Sandy Creek, NY, was arrested for Burglary, Third Degree, a class D felony; Criminal Mischief, Fourth Degree, a class A misdemeanor; and Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor.  Mr. Dickinson was arraigned before the Hon. Kenneth Adkins, Town of Scriba Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bail bond.  He is scheduled to answer the charges before Town of Scriba Court on 9/04/08.  He is accused of illegally entering the Pit Stop convenience store located on CR 4 in the Town of Scriba during the evening of 8/26/08 by breaking a window and stealing cigarettes and clothing.
