City of Fulton Fall League results for Sunday, August 24

12:00 D Hannibal Quik Mart sped past RFH’s, 13-3.  Jill Hughes slugged three singles, walked, and scored three runs for Hannibal Quik Mart, Jenna Koskowski slapped three singles, scored twice and drove in an RBI as Jennifer Hurlbut doubled, singled and amassed six RBIs.  Nick Tomarcio lined three singles and scored for RFH’s, Oakie Stanski drilled three singles and knocked in an RBI as Jim Stanski hit two singles, scored a run and drove in a run.

1:00 D Hannibal Quik Mart took the second game of the double header, 16-10.  Steve Davis doubled, singled twice, scored three runs and drove in an RBI for Hannibal Quik Mart, Nick Rupert crushed an inside-the-park grand slam, singled, scored a run and amassed five RBIs as Melissa Haney slapped three singles, walked, scored a run and knocked in a run.  Nick Tomarcio ripped two doubles, two singles, scored twice and drove in three RBIs for RFH’s, Jim Stanski doubled, singled, scored twice and knocked in two RBIs as Eric Smith sliced two doubles and scored twice.

2:00 D Kick-n-Chicken beat Muskie’s Co-ed, 7-5 in the first game of their double header.  Jeff Koegel lined a two-run inside-the-park homer, and singled for Kick-n-Chicken, Liz Mooney doubled, singled twice and knocked in two RBI’s as Erica Clark and Jeremy Koegel each doubled in a run and scored.

3:00 D Kick-n-Chicken barbequed Muskie’s Co-ed, 17-2 in the second game.  Keara Perry drilled two doubles, two singles, scored two runs and drove in three RBIs for Kick-n-Chicken, Erica Clark doubled, singled twice, scored three times and amassed three RBIs as Missy Paice doubled, singled twice, scored a run and drove in a run.  Aaron Raponi slapped two singles and scored a run for Muskie’s Co-ed, Shelly Terpening singled twice as Crystal Bracy doubled, driving in an RBI.

4:00 D Driveway Inn bowled over Lakeview Lanes RB, 11-1.  Gretchen Bukolt slapped two singles, scored a run and knocked in an RBI for Driveway Inn, Joe Williams crushed a three-run inside-the-park home run, scored two more times and amassed five RBIs as Linda Matlock doubled, walked twice and scored twice.  Tricia Woods sliced two singles for Lakeview Lanes RB, Geo Bateman singled and scored while Megan Wagner singled and drove in an RBI.

5:00 D Lakeview Lanes RB took the second game against Driveway Inn, 3-2.  Steve Woods doubled, singled and socred a run for Lakeview Lanes RB, Tricia Woods singled in an RBI as Paul Burgess scored and knocked in a run.  Gretchen Bukolt lined two singles, walked, scored a run and drove in an RBI for Driveway Inn, Jenien Janaro doubled, singled and knocked in a run as Joe Williams singled and scored.

6:00 D Cayuga Security Investigation handcuffed King Pin Bar & Grille, 17-2.  Kurt Ferris slapped two singles, scored a run and drove in two RBIs for Cayuga Security Investigation, Ron Hardter doubled, singled, scored once and knocked in three RBIs as Kevin Slimmer sliced two singles, walked, scored twice and drove in two RBIs.  Marty Allen and BJ Bocyck each singled and drove in an RBI for King Pin Bar & Grille, as Josh Dunsmoor, Frank Allen, Karen Samson and Melissa Townsend each singled.
7:00 , 8:00 & 9:00 Games at Denesha cancelled due to lightning.

5:00 F Tavern on the Lock Co-ed snuck past Gym Class Heroes, 7-6.  Kelly Powers sliced three singles, scored a run and drove in a run for Tavern on the Lock, Joe Houghtaling tripled, singled, scored twice and knocked in an RBI as Bruce Smith tripled, singled, scored a run while driving in two RBIs.  Mat Overton crushed a three-run inside-the-park homer, singled twice and amassed four RBIs for Gym Class Heroes, Carl Clothier slapped three singles and scored as Jess Bogardus reached base once, scored a run and drove in two RBIs.

6:00 F Tavern on the Lock Co-ed took game two of the double header over Gym Class Heroes, 7-3.  Joe Houghtaling blasted a solo inside-the-park home run, tripled in a run and scored another run, Kelly Powers doubled, singles, scored a run and drove in a run as Ryan Lescenski singled twice, scored and knocked in an RBI.  Mat Overton reached base twice and scored twice for Gym Class Heroes, Brian DeMott tripled and scored as Carl Clothier and Mike Glusczyk each singled.

As this column goes to press the 152nd Oswego County Fair should be in full swing at Sandy Creek. During the previous week the Heritage building was stocked full with many new and unique exhibits. We even brought down a piano for some live music!
