Girls Varsity Soccer:

Oswego 3, Nottingham 0

Amanda D’Amico, Alexis Files and Nicole Paulhardt scored for the Lady Bucs.   Leah Folgheerait made 3 saves for 6-7-2 Oswego.

Fulton 1, Chittenango 1

Michelle Bateman’s first half goal failed to stand up as the game winner, as the Bears scored in the second half.  Brianna Streeter made 7 saves for 9-5-1 Fulton.

Lyons 2, Hannibal 1

The Lady Warriors took a 1-0 lead into halftime on Taylor Sorrell’s goal.  Amanda Gage made 4 saves for 4-6 Hannibal.

Varsity Girls Tennis

Central Square 7, Oswego 0

A much closer match than it appears by the final score.  Four out of seven matches went three sets, with the third doubles unit of Chelsea Brockwell and Allison Knight falling 6-7, 6-7, 6-7.

Girls Varsity Volleyball

Oswego 3, Nottingham 0

Katie Flanagan had 19 assists and Vanessa Sheffield had 14 kills to lead the Lady Bucs.

Varsity Boys golf

Baldwinsville 207, Oswego 227

Corey Schuffenecker led Oswego with a 40, good enough for third on the day.

As this column goes to press the 152nd Oswego County Fair should be in full swing at Sandy Creek. During the previous week the Heritage building was stocked full with many new and unique exhibits. We even brought down a piano for some live music!
