Legislature Takes Up Nuke Plant Taxes, Pay Raises, Bridges

Oswego County legislators today take up plans that could lead to property taxes being paid on the county’s three nuclear plants.

The plants, all in the town of Scriba, will pay no property taxes until at least 2016 under an agreement with the owners of the nuclear plants.  Legislators will consider scrapping that law.
