Smart Table Deal Divides Oswego School Board

At its meeting this week, the Oswego Board of Education voted not to approve the agreement with Tequipment Incorporated for Smart Table professional development. The board had recently approved accepting grant funds for the project, but not the actual equipment purchase. “If we said no them that is what it means. Oswego School Board Hires Binghamton Attorney To Sue Over NiMi I Tax Deal

UPDATED: Following an executive session Monday night, the Oswego City School District board of education voted 6-1 to sue over the tax agreement for Nine Mile Point Unit I. They hired Binghamton real estate and assessment attorney Paul Sheppard. “At this time, we are investigating the proper vehicle for challenging the tax assessment agreement regarding the Nine Mile Point No. 1 facility,” explained Bill Crist, superintendent.
