Area troops and local Girl Scouts in the NYPENN Pathways Council (GSNYPENN) footprint are gearing up for the start of booth sales and the conclusion of the 2023 Girl Scout Cookie Program. District Students Face Off With Seniors To Test Knowledge, Help Community

Girl Scout Claudia Chetney and sixth graders throughout the Oswego City School District are asking seniors at Bishop’s Commons “Are you smarter than a sixth grader?” The event taking place on Oct. 9, is part of Chetney’s Bronze Service Award and is modeled after the popular game show on TV. It’s  open to the public and will collect canned or non-perishable goods at the door for donation to the local Human Concerns Center and Salvation Army.
