GRB Announces First Quarter Honor Roll Students
G. Ray Bodley High School recently announced its list of students who achieved honor roll, high honor roll and high honor roll with distinction status after completion of the first marking period. […]
Superintendent of Schools for the Fulton City School District, Brian Pulvino issued an important notice to all parents of students within the district regarding an incident at one of the schools this morning (March 9.) “G. Ray Bodley High School administration was informed by a student at 8:15 a.m. this morning that another student at GRB made an alleged threatening statement about initiating harm to others at the school,” the letter detailed.
The Fulton Board of Education heard about the district’s distinct opportunity to participate in a “cutting edge” experiment designated to only six school districts in New York State. Partnering with Cayuga Community College, FCSD is moving forward with the Dual Enrollment Experimental Site Initiative as the U.S. Department of Education pairs 44 colleges throughout the country with low-income high school students eligible for PELL grant funding for college courses to start working earlier toward the completion of a degree program. FCSD specifically has initially targeted 35 Bodley High School students that would be eligible for PELL grant funds to complete a minimum of 12 credit hours through courses at CCC Fulton Campus while also enrolled and earning the necessary credits at GRB.
