Police Locate Missing Woman

UPDATE: Ms. Haskins was found safe and unharmed. Police have determined there was no foul play involved in her temporary disappearance.

Police are investigating a missing person complaint which was reported this afternoon (Oct. 15) at 3:49 p.m. Christina M. Haskins, 27, of 26 E. Seventh St., was last seen leaving her home on foot at approximately 7 a.m. today.

One Child Gives To Help Others

<p>Mary Buske poses with the two deputies that ran the Operation Safe Kid program. The sheriff's department also took up a penny collection to help Mary's efforts to both help the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and The Ride for Missing Children and to let Mary know they haven't forgotten her aunt, Heidi Allen.</p>Mary Buske turned eleven years old in July. Instead of asking for gifts, she asked her friends to bring “Pennies for Posters.” Mary and her mom, Lisa Buske, have traveled the past couple years to Utica and Albany to support “The Ride for Missing Children.” The Ride for Missing Children is a fundraiser to raise awareness for the missing while also educating children to keep them safe […]

Oswego Salvation Army Does Its Part To Help Those In Need Locally Or Elsewhere

<p>One of the many programs that the Oswego Salvation Army offers to the community is its After School Youth Program, which is available every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-5 p.m. The program allows area youth to come and participate in table and board games, crafts, computer time, fellowship, and/or homework help.
