The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce will present two evenings of great music, fantastic food and lots of fun when the 2013 edition of the Fulton Jazz Fest brings cool jazz to the hot nights on the shores of Lake Neahtahwanta behind the War Memorial in Fulton 5-11 p.m. on Friday and 4:30 – 11 p.m. Saturday.
One of the highlights of last year’s Jazz Fest, the legendary jazz guitarist, Melvin Sparks, the originator of soul jazz, old school acid jazz, and barbecue funk jazz, will return to ignite Fulton’s Jazz Fest with another electrifying performance on Aug. 14.
It’s been a few years, but an old friend is back in town.
Fulton’s Jazz Fest opens tonight, renewing the festival that ran for years in downtown Fulton. The event has a new home — behind the War Memorial. Bring your own lawn chairs to enjoy two days of great music.
