Join the Friends of History in Fulton on November 4 at Tavern on the Lock (downstairs) as we turn back the clock and land in the 1960s. What do you remember about the ’60s? Baseball was America’s favorite past time. Music was clean and fun we could actually understand the lyrics. Teenagers were listening to music from Bobby Darin, Lesley Gore, The Beatles, and of course… Elvis!
The Fulton Lions Club has already sold more than 700 tickets for its annual “Lion’s Loot” drawing, leaving fewer than 300 left. The chance of winning up to $10,000 is quickly coming to an end, said Ron Browning, co-chair. The event drawings are scheduled for 1 p.m., April 19.
