The Caughdenoy Sewer District Extension No. 1 Project replaced the 25-year-old sand filter treatment plant and made efficiency upgrades to the Fort Brewerton Plant.

Through this project, the town was able to make new public sewers available to houses along the Oneida River and to continue providing 500 additional households with sewer service.
