Weather Notebook For December 21, 2012

According to Fulton’s weather observer, the area received 0.39-inch of precipitation on December 20.

The monthly total stands at 3.92 inches.

The total for the year is 41.69 inches.

Fulton received no snow on December 20.

Total snowfall for this month is 0.4-inch.

For the winter the total is 10.5 inches. (FYI – in 1995, we were at 113.75 inches at this date).

The rain will move out of here today; and be replaced by snow tonight.

Oswego State Men’s Ice Hockey Powers To Win

The No. 4/4 Oswego State men’s ice hockey team completed a SUNYAC weekend sweep with a 7-1 victory over Fredonia on Saturday night at the Marano Campus Center Arena. Oswego’s win pushes its record to 12-2-3 overall and 7-1-1 in conference action while the Blue Devils drop to 4-8-5, 0-5-3.

Cardinals Snap Lady Lakers’ Ice Win Streak

The nationally-ranked Oswego State women’s ice hockey team’s 10-game unbeaten streak came to an end during a top-10 Saturday afternoon showdown, losing 4-0 to No. 1 Plattsburgh on the road. With the loss, the Lakers are now 11-3-1 on the year and 7-2-1 in ECAC West action.

Vice president of the Oswego County Dental Society David MacGregor of Great Lakes Oral Surgery presented Karrie Damm, executive director of the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County, with a donation of food items and more than $1,600 in checks on behalf of the Oswego County Dental Society.
