OSWEGO, NY – If you missed the recent Oswego Players’ production of “Unnecessary Farce,” there is another chance to catch it in dinner theatre format at the Church of the Resurrection on Oct. 28 and 29.
Ticket price for dinner and show is $25.
You can also see the show only for $10.
This show is well worth the price of admission. Be sure to bring a handkerchief or tissue, not because it’s sad, but because it’s so darn funny.
Director Nelson Metz and stage manager Sherri Baker have teamed to put together one of the funniest farces this writer has seen in recent years.
It is a bit naughty, but certainly far from offensive.
The casting is flawless and timing perfect.
The actors make the most of their characterizations and slap-stick type situations, and had the audience roaring with laughter.
If you need a break from the sad state the world is in, this is it!
The Church of the Resurrection is located at 120 W. Fifth St.
Dinner is at 6:30 p.m. and the mayhem will start at 7:30 p.m.
The Players organization is grateful to Constellation Energy for its grant to help with the expenses of “Farce.”
