Oswego County Drug Task Force Announces 2 More Arrests

FULTON – On Friday April 24, at approximately 2:35 p.m., the Oswego County Drug Task Force and Fulton City Police Department executed a search warrant at 19 W. First St. N., in the city of Fulton for Mark A. Grandazzo, 38, of 19 W. First St. Apt. # 2 Fulton.

Investigators reportedly seized nine individually bagged pieces of crack cocaine, having a total weight of 3.2 grams, that Grandazzo is alleged to have possessed with the intent to sell.

The crack cocaine has an estimated street value of $320.

Grandazzo was arrested and criminally charged with the following:

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, intent to sell – Class B Felony
Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree – Class A Misdemeanor

Grandazzo was arraigned in Fulton City Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bail bond.

He has a return court date of May 13 at 9:30 a.m. in Fulton City Court.

Grandazzo was previously arrested on April 3 in the town of Granby by the Oswego County Drug Task Force.

On that date it is alleged that Grandazzo possessed 23.3 grams of crack cocaine and nine bags of heroin with the intent to sell such.

Also on Friday April 24, at approximately 4:10 p.m., the Oswego County Drug Task Force and the Fulton City Police Department detained Timothy A. Buchannan, 33, of 24 Mona St., Rochester, at 12 W. First St., Fulton.

Buchanan was detained as part of an investigation into the alleged possession and sales of crack cocaine within the city of Fulton.

A search warrant for Buchanan and his vehicle was applied for and issued.

Pursuant to the search warrant execution on Buchanan, he was found to allegedly be in possession of 12 individually bagged pieces of crack cocaine having a total weight of 8.4 grams, 41 bags of heroin and 10 illegally possessed oxycodone tablets.

It is alleged that Buchanan possessed the crack cocaine, heroin and oxycodone with the intent to sell.

The street value of the crack cocaine is $840, the heroin is valued at $820 and the oxycodone is valued at $50.

Buchanan was further found to be in possession of a pair of metal knuckles, police said.

He was arrested and criminally charged with the following:

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, intent to sell – Class B Felony- 3 counts
Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd degree – Class D Felony
Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree – Class A Misdemeanor

Buchanan was arraigned in Fulton City Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail.

He is scheduled to reappear in Fulton City Court on April 29 at 9 a.m.
