“Learning to drive is one of life’s great milestones and cell phone and other electronic technologies have enhanced our lives with the speed and ease of retrieving information and keeping us connected,†said Dr. Dennis Norfleet, Oswego County Public Health Director. “However, these two activities just do not mix.â€
The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce along with the City of Fulton recently brought Jazz Fest 2010 to our city. It was a huge success and could not have happened without the help of many people.

The proposed new logo for the school district’s athletic teams and high school made its first public appearance Tuesday night before the Board of Education.
A move to reduce the number of administrators in the district by four came back to the table at Tuesday’s board of education meeting. Just as it did this spring, if failed to get the required support to pass. In other action, the board named a new law firm as the district’s attorney.

As most of you know by now, Tim Conners has been battling leukemia and all of its side effects since April. The treatments that he has received to date have not been successful so a bone marrow transplant has been scheduled for September in Boston.
