The Friends Of History In Fulton, N.Y., Inc., will host its twenty-third annual Parade of Trees contest at the Pratt House Museum, 177 South First Street, Fulton, N.Y., from November 28th through December 9th.
All area clubs, non-profit organizations, youth and children’s groups are invited to participate by decorating a theme tree for display at the Pratt House.
Visitors will cast their ballots for their favorite trees in three categories: Adult (over 18), Youth (5th-12th grades), and Children (pre-K-4th grade). The trees with the most votes in each category will win prizes of $100.00 (first prize), $75.00 (second prize), and $50.00 (third prize). Trees will be decorated at the Pratt House on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, November 16th through the 18th, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Call 315-598-4616 to make reservations to decorate trees between 10 and 12 on Saturday, November 19th.
The entire community is urged to view the trees and vote for your favorites. The festive display will be on view Monday through Friday, November 28th through December 9th, from 12 noon to 3 p.m. and Saturday, December 3rd, from 11:00 a.m.to 3:00 p.m. Voting will end on Friday, December 9th, at 3:00 p.m., and awards presented on Wednesday, December 14th at 10:00 a.m. at the Pratt House Museum.
