The Do Good Swingband

The Do Good Swingband, known for its authentic presentation of music from The Swing Era, has recently added to its song list. “Revival Swing” is a style that has become increasingly popular,” said Do Good Swingband leader, Don Goodness. “Adding this style of music to our song list is a way to stay current with contemporary trends without completely changing our style. We’ll be playing Jump, Jive and Wail along with Zoot Suit Riot and we will be doing more songs from groups like The Brian Setzer Orchestra and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. By adding these exciting, high energy songs we hope to appeal to a younger audience and attract new fans to our band and to this great music.”

“Of course, we will still play traditional swing songs made famous by the bands of musicians like Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Woody Herman and others,” said Goodness. To book the Do Good Swingband call 343-1176 or go to
