OSWEGO, NY – So you’ve always wanted to write a book, but have no idea where to begin?
Or perhaps you started to write a book but need some direction.
In the workshop “A Writer’s Journey, Where to Begin,” you’ll learn from the experiences of a successful writer as she shares what it takes to get a book into print.
“It’s a long journey, from writing groups, writing methods, and writing resources, to writing conferences, publishers, and finally seeing your book in print, but it’s worth it” said Regina Edwards Drumm, author of several books, who will present a workshop on the writing process for emerging writers.
The hands-on workshop will take place on June 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room at Oswego Public Library.
Participants in the workshop should have basic computer and word processing skills and may bring their own laptop computers to the workshop, or may use one of 15 laptops provided by the Public Computing Center.
The workshop is free and open to the public through a Broadband Technology Opportunity Program grant.
Oswego Public Library is located at 120 E. Second St. in Oswego.
Please call 341-5867 or visit the main desk in the library to register for the workshop.
