OSWEGO, NY – Fitzhugh Park sixth grade students read the book “Each Kindness” by Jacqueline Woodson this past month during their PBIS plus instruction time with school social worker Amy Orr, Farnham Family Services student assistance counselor Linda Fischer, and school counselor Katie O’Leary.
The theme for the month was kindness and how small acts of kindness can contribute to a positive environment at home, school and the community.
As part of the curriculum, Fitzhugh Park students created holiday placemats for the residents of St. Francis Commons to add some holiday cheer for those in the Oswego community.
Presenting the placemats are from left (in front): Cassidy Proud, Alexis Murteza, Eric Carson, Tommy Maleski, Christian Mabb and Kaylob Lawton.
