FULTON, NYÃ¢â‚¬Â¦An action packed race program is planned for Fulton Speedway this Saturday, July 11. The DIRTcar Sportsman, DIRTcar Street Stocks, E&V Energy Novice Sportsman and the Gladiators will be in competition this Saturday night. The New York Modified Midget Series will make their only appearance of the season this Saturday night, while the popular Mod Lite class will make another appearance as well. One on One Spectator races will also be contested. Race time is 7 p.m.
Young Tim Sears Jr. is the current point leader in the DIRTcar Sportsman ranks at Fulton Speedway. John Pietrowicz, Jordan Bennett, Billy Clark and Alan Fink complete the top five in the standings. Steve Crouse, Dan Hoffman Sr., Steve Woodworth, Dan Hoffman Jr. and Matt Henderson are the top five to date in the DIRTcar Pro Stock division. Jon Shumway, Matthew Parkhurst and Joe Kline lead the way in the up to date E&V Energy Novice Sportsman class. Bruce Unger has been dominant in the last several Gladiator races.
The New York Modified Midget Series will invade Fulton Speedway this Saturday for their only appearance of the 2009 season. The light weight winged cars are sure to set record times around the high-banked track. The popular Mod Lite racers will return to action this Saturday night as well. Justin Crisafulli has won both Mod Lite feature racers to date on the high-banked track. Fans will also be able to take to the track this Saturday night in the One on One Spectator races.
Adult admission this Saturday night is only $10. Ages 10-14 will be admitted for just $5, with all those nine years of age and under will be admitted free. The track is located on Route 57 just south of the city limits. Free parking and overnight camping is offered for all regular season shows.
