Action Packed Race Program Set For Military Appreciation Night At Fulton Speedway On Saturday, August 22nd


FULTON, NY — An action packed race program is planned at Fulton Speedway on Military Appreciation Night this Saturday, August 22. The DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman, DIRTcar Street Stocks, E&V Energy Novice Sportsman, Mod Lites and the Gladiators will all be in competition Where Today’s Legends Race Today. The great evening of professional Dirt track motorsports entertainment will take Starter Jamie Kellogg’s green flag at 7 p.m. All Military I.D. card holders will receive free grandstand admission.

Fulton Speedway is the home of the strongest field of weekly competitors in the DIRTcar Big Block Modified division. Billy Decker, Ryan Phelps, Alan Johnson, Jimmy Phelps, Pat Ward, Jim Witko, Larry Wight, Michael Storms, Dale Planck, Mike Mahaney, Tim Sears, Willy Decker, Tom Sears, Eric Fisher, Mike Bowman, Billy Dunn, Vinnie Vitale, Chad Phelps and Chuck Bower are some of the top competitors that call Fulton Speedway their Saturday night home.

Tim Sears Jr., Billy Clark, Jordan Bennett, John Pietrowicz and Alan Fink are the top five currently in the DIRTcar Sportsman standings. Dan Hoffman Sr. is followed in the DIRTcar Street Stock rankings ahead of Dan Hoffman Jr., Ron Hawker, Russ Marsden and Steve Woodworth. The E&V Energy Novice Sportsman top five consist of Jon Shumway, Joe Kline, Mark Johnston, Matthew Parkhurst and Scott Kline. Bruce Unger, Keith Zirbel and Jerry Herbert are the top three in the Gladiator point standings. Mod Lite feature race wins this season at Fulton have been recorded by Gary Jeffries and Justin Crisafulli.

Brewerton Speedway gates on Saturday, August 22 will open at 5 p.m. Race competition on Military Appreciation Night will start at 7 p.m. All Military I.D. card holders will be admitted into the main grandstand free of charge. Free parking and overnight camping are offered for al regular season events.
