Advanced Care Planning and Estate Planning Essentials Forum Planned

OSWEGO – Bishop’s Commons Enriched Living Residence in Oswego will host an informational forum open to the public entitled “Understanding Advanced Care Planning and Estate Planning Essentials,” presented by local attorney Sara E. Davis and Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. financial planner Randy Zeigler.

Davis, who has more than 21 years of experience in the area of estate planning and advanced care planning, will review the importance of making your personal healthcare wishes known through Advanced Directives. Davis will lead a discussion on the importance of probate planning in addition to Health Care Proxy, Living Will and Power of Attorney; three key documents in the Advance Care Planning process.

Zeigler, who has been a financial planner for 29 years, specializes in investment planning, retirement planning, estate and charitable planning strategies. Zeigler will offer an overview of estate planning, its importance, and the first steps when making a plan.

The hour-long forum is offered at two times; July 13 beginning at noon, and July 14 at 5:30 p.m. The forum takes place at Bishop Commons Enriched Living Residence, 4 Burkle Street in Oswego, is free of charge and open to the public.
