FULTON, NY – Just right for the Valentine Day season, First United Church of Fulton, 33 S. Third St., will show William Wyler’s “Roman Holiday” on Feb. 12, starting at 2 p.m.
This is a free event sponsored by the Older Adult Ministries.
Participants will receive free popcorn and soda and will be able to relax on comfortable seating in the Fellowship Hall.
First United Church established Older Adult Ministries under the larger Open Doors Neighborhood Center in the fall of 2011 after receiving a grant from the Home Missions Society of the American Baptist Churches, USA.
An initial sponsored event was a ‘Holly-Jolly Christmas Party’ held in December of 2011. Future events are currently in planning stages.
First United Church is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches, USA and the Presbyterian Church (USA).
The congregation is active in the greater Fulton community through the Greater Fulton Area Council of Christian Churches and many other avenues of sharing.
The facility offers hearing assistance, and it is accessible to those who are physically handicapped.
