OSWEGO, NY – Agnes E. Parker, 94, a resident of East First Street in Oswego, passed away Tuesday May 12, 2015, at Oswego Hospital.
Mrs. Parker was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late David and Aimee (Hall) Mahaney.
She was a life resident.
She was a former president of both the Oswego Elks Auxiliary and the VFW Post 5885 Auxiliary.
Mrs. Parker was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church and a member of the Legion of Mary.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol (Jerry) Tetro of Seminole, Fla., and Elizabeth (Gary) Tubolino of Mexico; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, John P. Parker, who died in 1990; a son, John Parker; a brother, Lawrence Mahaney; and three sisters, Catherine Deming, Florence Smith and Theresa Sheltra.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church.
Entombment will be in All Saints’ Mausoleum, St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 E. Second St., Oswego.
