Airman graduates training

Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Justin A. McGrath graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Justin A. McGrath

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

McGrath is the son of Cathy and Thomas McGrath of State Route 49, Bernhards Bay.

He is a 2006 graduate of Paul V. Moore High School, Central Square.

He earned an associate degree in 2011 from Onondaga Community College, Syracuse.
