Albert D. Hall, 86, of Volney, died Friday at home.
Born in Volney, he was a life resident. Al had been employed by various companies in the area including Nestle Co., Armstrong Cork Co., and Sealright Co. He had also had a farm and was the owner and operator of HallÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Meat Market in Volney. Al and his wife were family care providers for several adults for many years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II. He was an avid outdoorsman; enjoying hunting, fishing, camping and gardening.
Al was predeceased by six brothers and five sisters.
He is survived by: his wife of 34 years, the former Sandy Lamond; six daughters, Sandy (Shawn) Bremm, Colleen (Ed) Jones, Christine (Bob) Whitman, Kim (John) Thompson, Jodi (Jody) Wilcox and Norma Jean (Bob) DeMarco; a son, Ricky Beck; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Calvin and Cedric Hall; a sister, Carrie Palmer.
