Novelis, the presenting sponsor of the Tri-Oswego event, and the world leader in rolled aluminum products and aluminum can recycling, is requesting that participants who will be attending this weekend’s Tri-Oswego, bring 25 aluminum cans to Breitbeck Park. “What a great opportunity for our community to support the Tri-Oswego event, while doing their part to recycle,” said Tri-Oswego Race Director Shane Broadwell. “Our sustainability program is a major component of the Tri, and we are proud to have Novelis leading the way on this initiative.”

According to Broadwell, the aluminum cans should be brought to Breitbeck Park prior to the Novelis Kids’ Fun Run, which is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Saturday. The race is free of charge, and the can recycling is not a requirement to participate in the event.
